About Me

“It’s very difficult” were my Dad’s first three words when I asked him to describe me. “Ambitious, thoughtful and scruffy” followed eventually.

I was born to him, Geoffrey, and my mum Marina in 1993, two years after my sister Hayley on the Isle of Wight. Along the sunny coasts I thoughtfully and ambitiously grew into the scruffy man I am today.

At 19 I moved to London for a career in acting, and for the last eleven years I’ve travelled the UK and Europe performing theatre – where I generated a desire for life on the road. In Catalonia I revelled in hiking, culinary delights and their festivals, and from this I wished for new worldly experiences.

My writing career is much like my Dad’s first three words, I’ve not been published before, but have relished in winning competitions in poetry and playwriting.

I have however been inducted into the London School of Journalism, where I’ve begun my path to become a freelance journalist writing about cultures, traditions and art styles.

It’s living on my small island that has given me the desire to seek what else the world has to offer, and it’s my creative interests that keep me hungry for learning more.
