That’s it. I’m done. It’s over.

That is 28 brand new spanking plays and technically play foundations all made. It doesn’t feel good yet, I can’t relax yet. There’s a few pieces which I rushed or didn’t finish. This being one of them. Whilst writing ‘โอกาส (Chance)’ (โอกาส  is pronounced as Xokās̄ – or oo-kaa.) I realised this was slowly becoming a full length play. I had created a main character, who I love, (she’s me basically, but made her a female so there’s a least a little distance), and many supporting characters that all have something to teach her, to help shape her, so she can tick off the most important thing on her To Do List in Thailand “Find Myself”.

I wrote 4 scenes, with a bit of interaction, and I want to be able to generate a whole holiday for this character, so she can truly have a cracking character journey.

The brief today, was the antithesis of the 1st brief, which was “past” – today was about the “future” – and rather than going down any form of Star Trek route, I’ve just asked myself “What do I want my future to look like?” – I want to be travelling, as soon as possible. I want to be back to normal.

So, here is my last play: 28. โอกาส (Chance)

AND a tradition I’m starting, which I did last time, was that I ranked the pieces. Unfortuantely this piece won’t be high up because it’s not complete. But I’ll make a separate list for Plays Which Have Potential, maybe? Who knows. Time will tell.

Let’s all live in hope, and all look to a brighter future, where we can go back to discovering more about ourselves, rather than just currently, barely living with ourselves.
