‘The Achiever’ – Challenge 2.1

So I’ve begun a new challenge.

Manuel Puro is a very successful casting director, and helps plenty of actors overcome their fears of self-tapes and offers advic. He is also runs workshops and talks.

This challenge will see me recieve a scene, learn it, record it, and then publish it in The Acting Habit hub – where like minded actors and other participants all watch one another’s scenes and comment on what they like or dislike.

To start, we’ve been given a monologue written by Joseph Arnone. A character called ‘The Achiever’ address the audience, or another in the scene. No limitations on acting, the first challenge is purely to upload a scene in time.

I’ve got my white wall, landscape iphone which is balanced on a large box on top of a chest of draws. Natural lighting from Vauxhall’s lovely smoggy air, and a small LED lamplight countering the natural light.
