Contrasting to my last play, this is now possibly the shortest (excluding the spoken word).
We were give the challenge of creating a play starting with the line:
“You’re a liar, and I don’t care that I’m naked, I won’t come off the roof unless you tell me why your sister asked me about my first time!”
And bonus points for ending with:
“Don’t be a sycophant, it’s either me or the Danish!”
To me is sounded like a comedy straight away, so I followed the plot given from the clues in the opening line. It’s a comedy about a little girls love for her big sister’s boyfriend, who freaks out throughout the whole thing. This is no way a personal experience.
Short and sweet:
I had very little sleep after that 6am submission, as I had to head off for work at 9am. It’s been a long day.
